I started at Habit Health as an Occupational Therapist in vocational rehab and I’m now the Regional Lead for the Manawatu and Whanganui region. Since I started, Habit has grown significantly and has given me a lot of opportunities. I started Concussion Services for Wellington in that time. Then we received the Training for Independence Contract and other social rehabilitation services. I then became a Lead Occupational Therapist for the OT team in Wellington, after which I changed to Clinical Services Advisor for the rehab contracts. After two years, I wanted to relocate to a smaller regional area, so I thought I’d try the Regional Lead role.
It really is a fantastic place to work. The team is just great. I’ve always really enjoyed coming into work and seeing my colleagues. The professional development has also been fantastic, and I love the contracts I work on as well. We also look forward to social events and weekly catchups, which you don’t get in other organisations.
