Graduate Programme

Māori and Pasifika Scholarship Programme

Habit Health is passionate about Aotearoa's cultural diversification of healthcare delivery, and we’re inviting Māori and Pasifika students to be a part of this through our Scholarship Programme.
Completing the appropriate course of study is the first step in getting set up for success as a future healthcare professional. This opportunity is suitable for passionate and aspiring students who are committed to being a part of this initiative in every way.
If you are completing an undergraduate degree in physiotherapy, occupational therapy or a postgraduate degree in occupational health nursing, we would like to hear from you.

What the Scholarship Programme offers*:
Funding of $500 at the time of award, and $2000 at the final year of study
Student placement support if needed with Habit Heath
A paid 4-8 week summer internship at a Habit Health clinic
Participation in promotional work to support Māori and Pasifika healthcare
Mentoring from a Habit Health employee in your chosen area of study
Automatic shortlisting for our Graduate Programme

Eligibility:
Applications are open to students who are:
of whakapapa Māori or Pacific Island descent;
citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand; and
students enrolled in approved tertiary courses in New Zealand as listed below.

Occupational Therapy:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy | Auckland University of Technology, Otago Polytechnic, WINTEC
