How to access this support:

To qualify for this service and safely return employees to work, there are a few requirements:

Staff must be absent from work or unable to fulfil their agreed hours or duties due to their injury

Be eligible for ACC worker’s compensation

We already have processes in place to fast track this change so your employee can access the care they need as soon as possible. We can do everything at our end as long as we are made aware of the injury as early as possible.

About this service

Our Habit Health vocational team work with employees affected by an injury be it workplace related or an injury that happened outside of work. We help determine:

Workplace injury type and limitations in fulfilling their duties at work

Injury prognosis and likely recovery programme

Our team will coordinate with their GPs and create a plan to help your injured team member recover as soon as possible. As part of their programme, we may advise on amending their working hours and modify select duties until your employee is back to feeling their best.

Each injury is unique, so we use the latest evidence-based approaches to achieve the best result for all.

Will this cost the business?

ACC fully funds our services to help your employee return to work. There will not be any cost for you or your employee.
