DL9 Medicals
A DL9 is a medical certificate for a driver licence that has been developed by the New Zealand Transport Agency. Due to the potential severity of a crash involving a commercial vehicle, commercial drivers are expected to meet higher safety standards than other motorists.
Habit Health work with Dr P Bassett a registered GP to provide medical certificates for a driver's licence (DL9) nationwide. Using registered nurses in our clinics located nationwide and telehealth we can provide a standardised solution to your company’s driver licence medical needs.
As well as providing DL9 medicals for your Class 2-5 drivers for licensing we also offer a nurse assessment as part of annual health monitoring for drivers to ensure that they are meeting the health requirements of their license as health status can change a lot in between license renewals particularly as we age.
