Habit Rehabilitation works closely with ACC, so we have a good understanding of how repetitive actions during the workday can cause health issues and pain. 

According to the ACC, there are four main areas that can cause problems, these include:

  • Physical discomfort (eg: sitting in an uncomfortable position)
  • Work stressors 
  • Visual discomfort (computer screens too bright or too small)
  • Fatigue

With this in mind, Habit Rehabilitation can assist you in ensuring that each of the four problem areas are being addressed. 

This can include providing ergonomic chairs, keyboards, footstools and appliances for those in roles where repetitive strain can cause problems (including long-haul drivers).

We can also assist clients with beginning a new office ritual, which may include micropauses, stretches and regular health and fitness routines that keep your body relaxed throughout the day.
