Asbestos Exposure Health Monitoring

If you employ staff members who regularly work on homes over 20 years old, you will probably come across issues relating to hazardous substances like asbestos. While you keep up to date with safe work practises on the work site, it is also important to maintain regular health monitoring. 

Worksafe New Zealand has clear requirements relating to monitoring asbestos exposure and the team at Habit Rehabilitation continues to remain up to date on all legal requirements. 

How we can help 

We offer occupational health services and assessments to builders, labourers and trades people who regularly work with or remove asbestos. 

This includes health checks and reports which we will provide and maintain on site. We can also assist with maintaining an asbestos register which will assist you in ascertaining who has been in contact with asbestos and the safety practises that they maintain throughout. 

Our services also cover the ability to assist with an asbestos management plan which will include imagery and important information relating to how asbestos has been handled and what effects it may have on those who have entered the worksite.
